I was so sorry to learn of the passing of June who had been
such a part of my personal memories on the Island. She came
into my life when she helped my mother and I was a girl
and remained there as a part of the community of the south end of the Island. I loved her humor and visiting with her and Elmer Anderson on their joint,beautiful farm land off Toe Jam Road. She was a wonderful person representing the best of Bainbridge and she will be missed.
Cindy, I know I speak for Pat and Styve Pell in thanking your
mother for all she did for them and their girls.

To all June's family,
She was a wonderful friend to my mother. Mom would tell me they talked every morning on the phone. She was great company for Mary after my father died. June was a lovely lady. She will be missed.

June was such an important person in my life. My brother and I spent so much time in her home - the memories are many. Eating pop tarts on her HUGE bed, watching Golden Girls while the radio played in the background, getting her mail and newspaper every time we visited, Buffy, Fritz, her roses and those "DAMN DEER!", the gum drawer, a Hallmark card for every occasion, knowing that if my mom was on the phone for a long time, it was most likely June on the other end, the magnets!, french braids, and always knowing she'd be waving when we drove away. You will be missed.

I am sorry to hear of your mothers passing...she was such a great lady and a couple of the many memories I have of her was when we watch Princess Diana's wedding at your house and she was such a great hostess and also one time we had a deep conversation about delivering your siblings at your family home when I was pregnant with Cory...she will be missed greatly, especially that smile of hers...my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Sending love and blessings to June's family on the sad news of her passing. June was a beloved mother and wife, friend and neighbor, and was a loving presence in many, many children's lives on Bainbridge Island. We will miss her "gab fests" and her laughter, and her down-to-earth advice and wisdom. We will miss June greatly. Her work is done, ours has to go on without her now.
