George,

I was deeply saddened to learn of Donna's death. I will miss her very much. I hope you are surrounded with your own friends and family that can comfort you during this time.

I am eternally grateful that you and Donna were able to teach me the gospel of Jesus Christ while you two served as missionaries on Bainbridge Island. I will never forget her kind and generous nature, and her warm smile each time we met.

Know that my thoughts and prayers are with your entire family during this difficult time.

If I can help you in any way, don't hesitate to let me know.

Donna:
I am so fortunate that you accepted my marriage proposal 58 years ago. Our union resulted in a wonderful family of three sons and their wives and seven beautiful grandchildren. You have been a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother. We could not ask for better.

Best of all, you brought to me the Gospel of Jesus Christ which has been a choice blessing. It has added meaning and purpose to my life. I am grateful that our family has been sealed for time and eternity through the ordinances we performed in the Washington, D.C. Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be with you again, my dear, in your new home on the other side of the veil. Until then, know that I love you very much.
Your loving husband and eternal companion,
George

What a wonderful lady and dear friend has preceded us to the other side of the veil. Donna and George have always been and will always be such great examples of what true love and caring should be in a marriage. Despite Donna's long trial with her M.S. she never complained or sought pitty but always was interested in others and how she could be of service. She was a fun person to be around and share thoughts and experiences with. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her!

GARY AND PAULA,

Our condolences on the death of Gary's mother. We always admired the way that the two of you moved to Washington to help care for her and Gary's dad; she could not have asked for a finer son and daughter-in-law! You are in our prayers.

Mom, thanks for being the best mother a son could ever have. You'll always be in my heart, and I know one day we'll be together again. Paula and I will always be grateful that we were able to spend the last three years with you here in Poulsbo. We witnessed your long, courageous battles with MS and Alzheimer's, and we'll always remember your smile and positive outlook. If there was ever anyone who lived and died with dignity, it was you. Thanks for everything. I owe you so much, and I know you'll continue watching over me. Godspeed, Mom.
Love,
-Gary
