I was honored to serve with Marvin on the board of Sonoma County Conservation Action and to work with him on several grassroots campaigns to protect the environment and prevent sprawl in the Sonoma Valley. He was a thoughtful, articulate, and most compassionate individual who was a life long advocate for the environment, social justice, and a humane society.

Although I never had the chance to meet Marv, as a Sonoma resident and member of the practice of investor relations, I know his service to our business was legnedary and his strategy and practice in the field of IR was grounding breaking in it's time. So sad to hear of his passing and all the best to his family.

So sad to hear of Marv's passing...I had the pleasure of getting to know Marv in Sonoma when I sold the house on Castle Road...he was a dear, sweet, lovely person & I am grateful to have known him. My thoughts are with his family & friends.

Mike, Stephanie and Ned were all as sorry as I was to learn of Marv's passing. Stef and I appreciated his staunch support of the Bainbridge Island Dive Club, and I have great admiration for the way Marv adapted to life on Bainbridge after living in the Bay Area for so long. He obviously enjoyed being around young people, and his support for them, exemplified by his Penn State involvement, is worth emulating. Our condolences to your family.

Marvin was a great colleague--and friend--at McKesson Corporation. He had a
