There is... a difference!

Duane I. Parcells Sr., 86, of Bainbridge Island passed away peacefully on Sunday April 8, 2018 at the Messenger House Care Center. Born in Rapid City, South Dakota, he was the son of the late Lewis Benjamin and Zelma (Widner) Parcells. Duane grew up in Kingston, WA on the family farm located on Parcells Road. He attended school in the area and graduated from Kitsap High School Class of 1949.

Not long after his graduation, Duane joined the United States Air Force and served his country during the Korean War. Duane would later be employed by the Pope and Talbot Lumber Mill in Port Gamble, WA where he was employed as a mechanic.

Preceded in death by his Brothers, Walt and Vic, his sisters Ruby Neilson, Lois Williams, and Ethel Parcells, and his granddaughter Ashley Stenbom, Duane is survived by his children; Duane Jr., Teresa, Cheri, Doug and Tami. His beloved sisters Ruth Herzog and Marion Vanderhalf also survive him.

Services and interment were private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home.
