Allan Wayne Wilkins

On Wednesday, August 19th, 2020, Allan Wayne Wilkins, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at the age of 79. Allan was born in 1941 in Richmond, CA to Wayne and Betty Wilkins. He joined the Navy at age 18 and while attending nuculear power school in Idaho Falls, ID, he met the love of his life, Leila Mcbride. They were married in 1961 and had 5 children, Ket , Kip, Misty, Dolores and Kyle, 2 children in law, Linda and Terry, as well as 10 grandchildren, Amanda, Amy, Dustin, Emily, Marcelle, Logan, Jacqueline, Sammantha, Madelyn and Kodiak. He also surived by two sisters, Shirley and Linda. Allan retired from the Navy and shipyard as a master chief and then spent another 15 years enjoying his retirement as a boiler mechanic at Harrison Hospital. As an ex mechanic, he enjoyed working on cars as well as carpentry and could do and fix just about anything. Allan spent 25 years in the boy scout program, was active in his church and spent the last 10 years of his life serving the community and feeding those in need. He was known for his quick wit, his love and loyalty to those he loved, and his kind and compassionate spirit. There will be a private family memorial service.
