Alvin Leo Szarkowitz

age 72, of Kaukauna, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the loving arms of his family.Alvin was born on July 8, 1941, in Wausau, to the late Joseph Szarkowitz and Helen Dorshak. He married the love of his life Phyllis Pike on August 20, 1966, in Rothschild.Alvin was a devoted and truly loving husband, dedicated and supportive father of six and grandfather of ten who lived to spend time with his wife, family and friends. Alvin had an infectious smile and grandiose heart and was loved by so many more than anyone could ever know. We will remember him smiling, dancing (polka-ing like no other), hunting and fishing….playing ‘red rover red rover' and ‘kick the can'…doing all of the things that made him the love of our lives.There are not enough tears, smiles or hugs to show how much he is loved and will be missed. Rest in peace Dad and we know you are holding Mom's hand right now and smiling down upon us.Survivors include his loving children; Mark (Sally) Szarkowitz, Kristine (Scott) Roberts, Scott (Jennifer) Szarkowitz, Chad (Amy) Szarkowitz, Ryan Szarkowitz, and Shannon (James) Leedle; Grandchildren; Cole, Shannon, Jordan, Alexis, Riley, Amanda, Miranda, Kaila and Mara, Josie; Brothers and sisters; John (Doreen) Szarkowitz, Sandra (Paul) Seneraski, Joanne (Doug) Apland, William Szarkowitz, Linda (Tom) Fischer, Bruce (Kathy) Szarkowitz, In-Laws; Barbra Radtke, Tom (Ruthie) Pike, Debbie (Mike) Maki.
