Edmund Carl Rediehs

passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Island Health & Rehabilitation on Bainbridge Island, Washington. He was 100 years of age and born on March 30, 1907 in Hinsdale, Illinois to Fredrick Albert Rediehs and Eva Mochel.Edmund lived in the Chicago area for the majority of his life. He worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago. He also worked as a truck driver and worked construction in California and Texas. Edmund helped build the Hinsdale Sanitarium in Illinois. He served during WWII in Panama. He was active with the Oak Brook Historical Society. Edmund loved to travel and go for a walk. He also enjoyed people and always had a joke.He is survived by his wife Frances of Bainbridge Island, WA.Funeral services and interment will take place on Monday, February 25, 2008 in Oak Brook, Illinois.
