Ian Nicholas Morosoff

September 3, 2001 — May 1, 2021

On May 1, 2021, Ian Morosoff, our beloved son and brother, passed away while serving as a paratrooper with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vicenza, Italy, at the age of 19.

Ian was born on September 3, 2001, and spent his early years in York, Maine before moving to the Seattle area at the age of 12. He attended Bainbridge High School, where he was an honors student and standout lacrosse player. He also spent several summers playing lacrosse for Team Washington.
Immediately upon graduation, Ian enlisted in the Army, eager to serve his country and a cause greater than himself.

Ian loved music, dogs, hiking, generally anything outdoors, team sports, and spending time with family and friends. He was best known for his warm and infectious smile, contagious laughter, adventurous spirit, devotion, sincerity, and his constant desire to grow and improve.

Ian is survived by his mother, Sarah, his father, Rudy, and his twin brother, Isaac. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 5, at 1:00 PM at the Kiana Lodge in Poulsbo, WA. All are welcome and casual attire is encouraged. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the In Loving Memory of Ian Morosoff GoFundMe.
