Margo Louise Holland

Margo Holland of Bainbridge Island passed away in her sleep on Sunday, January 31, 2021. After a long battle with cancer, she was in no pain and at peace at her time of death.

Margo is survived by her husband Jeffrey, daughter Christine Araneda and husband Pete, son Joel Williams and wife Angela Gemmer, and their families. She had four grandchildren, Derek Goodall and his significant other Jessica Wenke, Matthew Goodall, Sophie Williams, and Sean Williams. And she had great-grandchildren Cherish Goodall and Serenity Goodall.

Her hobbies included knitting, playing pool, a Docent at IslandWood on Bainbridge Island, and traveling. She loved her family, enjoying their company and loving wishes.

Her last message to us all:

In early 2019 I was diagnosed with lung cancer. I had surgery, chemo, and immunotherapy. Had some early success but ultimately nothing turned out to be the silver bullet. The family and I decided to let the cancer run its course and to enjoy what quality of life is left with friends and loved ones. It’s been a WONDERFUL journey!
