passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Martha and Mary Health Care Services in Poulsbo, Washington. She was born on June 19, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was 90 years of age.Marjorie loved to garden, to do bonsai, oil painting, cooking, sewing, crochet, and getting together with family and friends. She also was a member of the Lynndale Garden Club of Lynnwood, WA, where she was a past president.Marjorie is survived by her daughter Marilyn Mathis (Paul) of Suquamish, WA, granddaughter Elaine Hofstader (Dean) of Lake Stevens, WA, great granddaughter Nicole Beasley of Lake Stevens, WA, grandson, Scott Davis of Everett, WA, great-grandson Mark Stinson-Davis of Granite Falls, WA, Jamie Stinson of Granite Falls, WA, and Extended family: Brenda Ruddick (Chris) of Bainbridge Island, WA, Shea and Liam Ruddick of Bainbridge Island, WA, Hillary Mathis of Tucson, AZ, and Perry and Pam Mathis of Falls Church, Virginia. She also leaves behind long time friends and neighbors: Mae Wilson, Carol Larson, Bill and Jadie Keene and Sandi and Anthony Davis. Marjorie was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Hayes Binickos and her husband Edward Hunrath.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Celebration of Life on February 3 at Congregation Kol Shalom from 2:00 to 4:00. Private burial services will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Seattle, WA. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Kitsap County. Please sign the online Guest Book for the family.
