Philip Charles Whitener

Philip Charles Whitener, 99, of Silverdale, WA., passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Crista Shores Assisted Living Center in Silverdale. Born in Keokuk, Iowa he was the son of the late Henry Carroll and Katherine (Graham) Whitener.

Philip worked his entire career as an Aeronautical Engineer working during a time when many, many innovations in flight were accomplished leading to the modern aircraft we know today.

Services will be private with the interment being made in Sumner City Cemetery, Sumner City, WA.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island, WA.
