Sally Elizabeth Grice

of Gardner, WA formerly of Bainbridge Island passed away on April 1, 2009 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on August 11, 1951 to Stephen and Lillian Grice, she grew up in the California Bay Area but moved to Bainbridge Island in 1979 with her son Stephen.Sally was a registered LPN and loved taking care of her patients. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing and being with her two granddaughters. Sally is survived by her beloved son Stephen Sawvel, (Theresa), granddaughters Grace and Lillian Sawvel, mother Lillian Bean (Ray), older brothers Stephen Grice (Gloria), and Art Grice, Tom Grice, and younger sister Linda Pascoe (Jeff), by niece Rena Grice, and nephews Kyle Grice and Ryan and Daniel Pascoe. She is also survived by her dear friend Steve Durupt, and many more friends. She was preceded in death by her father Stephen Grice and niece Michelle Grice.There will be a viewing from noon to 1:00pm at the Seabold Methodist Church on Bainbridge Island on Saturday April 11, 2009 followed by the memorial and graveside services.
