passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington. He was born on February 20, 1941 and was 75 years of age.​Sheldon graduated from North Kitsap High School in the class of 1959. He retired from civil service in Keyport, Washington and also self employment at Horizon TV and Appliance in Bremerton, WA.He was a member of First Lutheran Church of Poulsbo, WA. Don loved his life and his many loved ones. His greatest joy was to be with his family. He wanted his children to enjoy their professions, family and friends.His grandchildren brought him so much joy. He followed all their activities. His new great grand daughter put a special spark in his eyes as he bounced her on his knee. Don was his senior class president at North Kitsap High where all of his classmates were special to him. He had a gift of friendship and laughter and drew many into his life.Don and his wife Cheryl had 54 years of love, fun and togetherness. He called First Lutheran Church "home" and thought Christ's work was also his work, especially to love all.Don is survived by his wife Cheryl of Poulsbo​, WA, son's Scot (Penny) of Seabeck, WA and Tim Sageser of Poulsbo, WA. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Amanda (Tobin), Michelle (Kellie), Christina, Caitlin and Chloe, also his great-granddaughter Skyler, sister Pat Brown and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Ike and Loretta Sageser and nephew's Randy and Jeff Brown.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM at First Lutheran Church in Poulsbo, Washington. ​ Memorial contributions can be made to First Lutheran Church or The Kitsap County Humane Society. ​Please sign the online guest book for the family.
