Stephen George

nicknamed Big Dad or brother to many, passed away December 6th, 2008 and lived all his life in Kitsap County and was a resident of Little Boston. Stephen was born on October 21, 1952 and was 56 years of age.He was preceded in death by: father, William "Bill" George; mother, Dorothy Day George; sister, Dorothea George; neice, Kimberly Shine. Survivors: sisters Bonnie Helgestad and Loreen Mendenhall, niece Daisy Nelson, nephew William Windsor, great-niece Jennifer Baldridge, great-nephew Joshua Wooster. Other survivors: Ann Anderson (like a second mother), Russell Fulton, Lloyd Fulton, Charlie George, Jeff Fulton, cousins Donna and Marilyn, plus many more family and friends who loved him.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 3:00 PM at The Port Gamble Tribal Center in Little Boston/Kingston, Washington. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 2-3 PM at the center. Cremation will follow.Memorial Contributions to: Bonnie Helgestad. Fundraisers: luncheon and carwash on Wednesday, December 10th at the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribal kitchen.
