Tasha Estelle Woodard

passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. She was born on August 9, 1966 in Bremerton,WA and was 42 years of age. She was a resident of Shelton, WA - Skokomish Nation. She moved to the area from Alaska when she was 15 years old. Tasha enjoyed being on the beach, going on canoe journeys, native drumming, music of the 70's and 80's, her mother's cooking, loving her children and teasing her stepdad whom she called "Dad". She is survived by her children; Eddie Hoeflin of Bremerton, WA and Milon Woodard of Missouri. She also leaves behind her mother Josephine Sable of Shelton, WA and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Eddie Kolbo in 1964. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at the Suquamish Tribal Gym in Suquamish,WA. Memorial contributions can be made to the Suquamish Tribe in her name.
