4.3 Love You
AP, Peaches, Ad, Brother, A-Pizzle and Uncle Adam; these are just a few names that
ring true when Adam comes to mind. Adam was an amazing human: he was full of love
for others, life’s little joys and a contagious chuckle that could spread like wildfire.
From a young age, Adam fell in love with music, magic, sliced cheddar cheese and
orange juice; The Karate Kid and taekwondo; Michael Jackson, roller hockey, soccer
and goalkeeping. As he grew, so did his passions. He loved his friends, traveling,
snowboarding, and love itself. Above all, his priority was loving others for who they are,
and making both himself and those around him laugh.
Then it was cooking. Adam loved cooking not only for the art of food, wine and beer in
and of themselves, but most importantly for the art of making others smile and bringing
them joy through his creations. This was a defining way of how he expressed his love.
Adam was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend that loved deeply and without
reservation. He is the proud son to Bill & Cheri Paulin, loving brother to his two sisters,
Brooke Scott and Lauren Jackson, and cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews:
Jamie, Alex, Libby, Finnley, Nella and Eliott. He rarely missed a moment with his family
and friends if he had the opportunity to spend time with them. We are all forever grateful
for our time with you, Adam.
Adam had a remarkable ability to walk into a room and light it up with his smile and
presence, while just as strongly, his absence was always felt. He was never one to hold
back when letting others know he loved them. There wasn’t a phone call or departure
hug that ever occurred that didn’t end with “Love you”. It is only fitting that he left us on
4.3.2025–– Love (4) You(3).
Born in Illinois, Adam spent most of his life in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated from
Olympic Highschool in Bremerton, Washington, in 2002. He then went off to college and
earned his associate degree from Whatcome Community College and his Bachelor of
Science from Seattle University in 2008. While in Seattle, he began his career in the
restaurant industry while holding prominent roles at Café Lago, The Masonry, and
Evergreen Pizza Company in Bremerton, Washington.
We are forever grateful to have loved you, Adam. You’ve left an imprint on this earth
that will never fade. May you rest calmly and watch over us all until we get to laugh
together one day, once again.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Adam’s honor on August 9, 2025 at The Bistro in the Oxford Suites in Silverdale, WA
