age 92, passed away on May 21, 2015. Aileen was born in 1922 in Carney, OK. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Fisher; her mother, Winifred Fisher; and her brothers, Phillip and Frank Fisher. She is survived by her brother Ray and his wife Madeline Fisher; her daughter, Susan Sivitz; her son, Donald and his wife Darinka Hasty; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Rebecca Sivitz; and many loving nieces and nephews.Aileen was a quiet, gentle soul with a green thumb who was loved by all, animals and people alike. Aileen was famous for her warm smile and loved gardening, crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family. As a young woman, she was known for her academic ability in the Lincoln County school system. During World War II she worked as a welder. She was a school teacher prior to retirement.Prior to moving to Bainbridge Island, WA in 2000 to be closer to her family, Aileen lived in California, Colorado and South Carolina. In her later years she enjoyed life at the Messenger House Care Center where she picked up arts and crafts and was extremely fond of the staff.Please sign the online Guest Book for the family.
