Angela M. Clark

58, of Bainbridge Island, WA, passed away as a result of a sudden illness on June 15, 2013 at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.She was born August 1, 1954 at Fort Benning, Georgia, to parents Col. Joe Glenn and Miriam Cain Mears. Angela spent her formative years at several military posts, including Springfield, Virginia, where she graduated from West Springfield High school in 1972. She obtained a BS and an MS degree in child and family development from Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, VA.Angela married Robin Clark (of Alexandria, VA) July 14, 1974. Together, they moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 1978, where she worked as an office manager and event coordinator until moving to Bainbridge Island, WA in 2001.Since her youth, Angela enjoyed reading, music, and theater. During her high school and college years, she was a skilled singer, and performed with a theater troupe. Later in life, she developed a passion for cooking, spending her free time collecting and cooking unique recipes.She is survived by her husband, Robin (Bainbridge Island, WA), and family residing in Fort Collins, CO: daughters, Amanda and Ariana Clark; parents, Joe and Miriam Mears; younger sister, Laura Shotwell; and grandson James Willis.Condolences may be left on Angela Clark's memorial website: http://www.angela-kathleen-mearsclark.forevermissed.com
