"Andy", died January 31 on his beloved Bainbridge Island, Washington at the age of 74.He was born December 28, 1941 to Dr. Willard Goff and Barbara Goff in Seattle. Anson was a 1960 graduate of Franklin High School. He was stricken at age 18 with a neuromuscular disorder, and lived most of his adult life in the residential community of Provail (previously known as United Cerebral Palsy). He worked in the UCP sheltered workshop; and later, while living in a group home in Shoreline, volunteered at the North Seattle Service Center. Despite his disabilities, Anson enjoyed assisted travel to many wonderful places and family events.He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. A devoted fan of the UW Huskies, Anson for years attended their home games. He also cheered on the Supersonics, Mariners and Seahawks. As a youth he had learned to play the clarinet, and was first chair clarinet in the Franklin High marching band. He loved the music of Benny Goodman.Anson is survived by brother Richard Goff, and wife Dagmar, of Bainbridge Island, sister Trudy (Gertrude) Larson, and husband Willis, of North Andover MA, brother John Goff, and wife Kathy, of Portland, and sister Alice Parédez, and husband Fidencio, of Grand Rapids, MI.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1315 N. 160th St, in Shoreline.
