passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Island Health & Rehabilitation on Bainbridge Island, Washington. He was 93 years of age and a resident of Bainbridge Island.Benjamin was born on April 17, 1914 in Trenton, New Jersey to Abraham Brown and Rachel Rosenthal.Until a few days before he died, Benjamin was fully engaged and enjoying life at the Madison Ave Retirement Center on Bainbridge Island. Seven years ago, he and his wife Alice moved to Washington to live closer to family on Bainbridge. The couple had lived in Princeton NJ most of their lives and until retirement, Benjamin ran his family's business, The Princeton Clothing Company.He was a WW II Veteran. Benjamin enjoyed friends, family, and golf.He is survived by his daughter Susan Brown of Bainbridge Island, WA and grandchildren Jesse, Savannah, Adam Bentz, Barbara Brown and Talia Hancock-Brown of San Francisco, California.He was preceded in death a year and a half ago by his wife Alice. He will be greatly missed and held in loving memory by his family.Arrangements by Cook Family Funeral Home.
