Bernice T. Smith

Bernice T. Smith, 98, of Bainbridge Island, WA., passed away with her loving family at her side on Friday, November 13, 2020, at the Madison House on Bainbridge Island. Born in Quitman, Arkansas she was the daughter of Sherman and Ethel (Bittle) Trawick.

A graduate of the Class of 1940, Bernice began her secretarial career with the Rheem Water Heater Company shortly after graduating. She would spend the rest of her career with the company, earning many accolades along with the praise of her co-workers for the quality of work she did.

Bernice is survived by her daughter Caroline Smith and her family.

The entombment will be made privately on Tuesday, November 24, at 1:30 PM in the Rolling Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum 4100 Hilltop Drive, Richmond, California.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island, WA.
