Betty Alice Wilson

passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25th, 2008 at Montclair Park/HavenCrest in Poulsbo, WA after a short illness associated with Alzheimer's disease.Betty was born in New Westminster, B.C, in 1923, but lived most of her life in the Seattle area with her devoted husband, George. Betty graduated from Ballard High School in 1941. She enjoyed music, traveling, reading and was an avid gardener, golfer, tennis player and skier. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was a devoted, loving and selfless wife and mother who will be missed profoundly.Betty was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Wilson, her daughter, Kathy L. Wilson, and sister Lorraine Diede. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Steven M. Wilson of Manson, WA, her daughter, Christine W. Cercone of Bainbridge Island, WA, her brother, Douglas Putnam of Edmonds, WA, grandchildren Jamison and Jason West, Ashley Wilson, Danielle Cercone and her many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.The family wishes to express deep appreciation to the staff of Montclair Park/HavenCrest and Group Health Hospice for their special care and support.Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Betty's life to be held on Sunday, May 4th from 2-5pm at Kiana Lodge, 14976 Sandy Hook Road NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Alzheimer's Association or Group Health Hospice.
