Bruce Dee Brunton

Bruce Brunton died on January 4, 2023.  He was born in 1939 in Waitsburg, WA. An avid outdoorsman and adventurer,he climbed all major volcanic peaks in Washington and Oregon.  Bruce was an instructor in swimming and skiing.  He ventured in basketball, kayaking and sailing.

Bruce graduated from U of W law school then working for the Seattle prosecutor before moving to Bainbridge Island in 1969 with his wife, Peggy and his son Christopher.  They built their home and moved in when their daughter Genevieve was born.  

Bruce served as a prosecutor for Kitsap County before opening his own law practice on Bainbridge Island.  He donated his legal services to the Native American Filipino communities. 

He was proceeded in death by their daughter Genevieve.

There will be a Celebration of Life on March 22nd @ 2:00 pm at Grace Memorial Church 8595 NE Day Road, BI, WA 98110
