Calvin Randall Peck

passed away on November 28, 2014 at The University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He was born on April 11, 1923 in Grand Haven, Michigan and was 91 years of age.Calvin worked as a Western Union Messenger, a US Navy Pay Clerk in WWII, a US Army Officer (retiring as a Major in the US Army - Finance Officer attached to Army Security Agency) and retired as a Civil Service Controller. He was a member of the Shriners, Masons, Scottish Rite, DAV and MOAA. He loved puzzles (jigsaw and crosswords) and excelled at cards (especially bridge, cribbage, pinochle and poker). He had an almost photographic memory for cards. He was a passionate San Francisco 49ers fan. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, daughter, Shirley Whitaker, son, Calvin Jr., and three grandchildren.A Graveside Service with full military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in March of 2015.
