"Charlie", joined his heavenly father on March 21, 2018. After battling cancer for more than two decades, he passed away at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton with his family by his side. He was 77 years of age.Charlie was born to Maxwell and Phoebe (Densmore) Frame on August 1st, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Cody High School in 1959. Charlie had three children from his first marriage. He began his working career as a butcher and then worked at Baker Commodities Inc. from 1976-1999, retiring from his position as Northwest Area Manager. In 1997 Charlie was named Business Leader of the Year Tukwila as manager of Baker Commodities.On September 3, 1987, Charlie married the love of his life, Carolyn Gayle (Barnett) Wolf. During their 28 years of marriage, they enjoyed their family first and foremost, followed by shared passions for boating, traveling, cruising, camping, entertaining, and supporting the underserved in their community. Charlie pursued his lifelong passion for aviation, by earning his pilot license. He loved flying his Piper Cherokee back to Oshkosh, WI. for the airshow. Charlie was a contributing member of the (E.A.A.) Experimental Aircraft Association in Oshkosh.After retirement, Charlie devoted his time to helping his community by serving on Bainbridge Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Bainbridge Island Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors. In 2003, Charlie and Carolyn were named Bainbridge Island Business Couple of the year. Charlie was an active member of New Life Church on Bainbridge Island. He had devoted his life to serving the Lord by helping others. Together they built CFA Northwest Mortgage Professionals to a thriving business and together they endured the mortgage industry crash in 2008. Their loving family stood by them during the mortgage crisis and during both Carolyn and Charlie's battle with cancer.Charlie was preceded in life by his beloved wife Carolyn Frame and his oldest son Jeffrey Frame. He is survived by his daughter Laura Frame (husband Ronnie Holmes) son David Frame; step-children: Mitchel Gillen (and wife Karen Gillen), Shannon Richardson; Penny Apodaca(husband Paul Apodaca); his grandchildren Arianna Frame, Aaron Frame (wife Jordan Frame), Jeremy Frame,(Laci Sparks), Breann Apodaca; Eddie Smith,(wife Teodora Smith), Willow Smith, Roan Holmes; Krystina Eals, Chelsea Guelcher(husband William Guelcher), Zachary Ainsley, Samantha Ainsley, and 12 great grandchildren; his sisters Evva Funk of Pinckney,MI, Barbara Dewey of Hell,MI,; sister-in-law Pam Robinson; brothers-in-law Kent Barnett and Kurt Barnett and countless nieces and nephews as well as his extended family at Newlife church. The entire family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love they have received while Charlie fought his battle with cancer.A memorial service will be held on 4/14/18 from 11am-2pm at the Newlife Training Center 9923 Poplars Ave NW, Silverdale, WA 98383.
