Charles Eikyu Arakaki

Charles Eikyu Arakaki, 87, of Bainbridge Island, WA., passed away quietly on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at the Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton Wa. Born in Waianae, Hawaii he was the son of the late Tokuki and Suye (Higa), Arakaki.

Charles was employed by the United States Postal Service where he enjoyed a long career and from which he retired several years ago.

Preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret Jean in January of this year, he is survived by his beloved sons and their families; Rodney, his wife Lori, and their children Elena and Jarrett Arakaki of Bainbridge Island, and Gary, his wife Hiromi, and their children Ren and Kai Arakaki of Japan. In addition, Charles is survived by many siblings and their families.

Private interment will be made in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.
