Charles Robert Shoumaker, fondly known as Chuck, passed away on June 16, 2024, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him. He was born May 1, 1966, in Denver, Colorado, and later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1976 with his family.
Chuck's educational journey took him through Mojave Middle School and Brophy College Preparatory School, culminating in his graduation from Saguaro High School in 1984. His dedication to learning continued at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications in 1988.
A man of remarkable talents and leadership, Chuck became an active member of the Board of Directors for STAR Human Resources Group, contributing significantly until the family's sale of the company in 2001. Following this, he honored his commitment to professional excellence by leading management at Metagraphix, a print and fulfillment company, for a decade. During this time, he pursued further education at Thunderbird Global Management School, earning his MBA in 2008.
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, Kerri (Burgess) Shoumaker; his mother, Therese M. Shoumaker; and his sister, Alexis M. Cosca, along with her husband, Kevin.
His absence will be felt deeply by his loved ones who cherished his unique sense of humor and his extraordinary ability to bring joy and laughter into their lives. The legacy of Chuck's warmth and spirited personality will be forever remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
