Christine Mary Coyne

Christine Mary Coyne, 72, passed away on May 16, 2019 with her two children present. She was born on November 9, 1946 in Shelton, Washington, to the late William Coyne and late Mildred Connolly. She attended the University of Washington as an undergraduate and worked as a Registered Nurse in the Seattle Area. She moved to Bainbridge Island while married to the late Dennis Kuntz, where they raised two children and she continued her education for Masters and Doctorate (PhD) degrees. She taught for many years as a Nursing Instructor in the UW School of Nursing and touched many young students' lives. She retired in 2014. Aside from her rewarding career, she loved reading, music, traveling, and spending time with her children and their families. She was a supporter of many non-profits including PBS, WWF, Unicef, the National Parks, and more.

Christine is survived by her son, Matthew Kuntz; daughter, Allison Mitchell; and her three grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Services will be Private.
