Christopher Haydon Cozine, passed away April 23, 2023, on Bainbridge Island, Washington surrounded by his loving parents.
Chris was an energetic and adventurous person who loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, biking, skiing, and fishing, He especially enjoyed fishing for salmon and trout. His love of fly fishing took him to streams and rivers in Washington, Idaho, Alaska, and Scotland. His concern for the environment led him to Australia to work with the civilian conservation corps. His biggest passion was rock hunting which was started by a good friend and geologist when he was only 5 years old. He searched for rocks everywhere he traveled. He especially liked to search for rocks in the Naches Creek area of Eastern Washington. He was known to gift some of his special finds to his favorite people.
Chris had an artistic side that he expressed through drawing and glass blowing. He studied art in France and glass blowing in Seattle.
Chris was a kind and gentle soul who is deeply missed by his family and friends, who loved his personality and great sense of humor.
Chris is survived by his parents, Ted and Judy Cozine, his brothers Tres and James, and his extended family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island.
