Cindy was born in Tacoma, Washington, and lived in Puyallup, Walla Walla, and Seattle before moving to Bainbridge Island in 1974. She is survived by her husband, Garry Skelton, her son Garth Skelton, grandchildren�Ruby and Rellen Skelton, sister Linda Bingham, brothers in law�Rick and Greg Skelton, nephews Earl Bingham and Bobby Jones, nieces Christina Torrez and Elaine Quandt, and their spouses and children.
Garry and Cindy were in their 48th year of marriage and have always resided in the same home they built in Meadowmeer in 1974. Cindy worked for a short time for Pacific Northwest Bell in Seattle and then later on for NET Systems Inc. on the island. She loved gourmet cooking, gardening�using many of the vegetables in her cooking, reading�usually a book every few days, quilting�giving most of them away, and sewing - creating things such as dresses and PJ's for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her daughter, Corey, preceded her in death in 2008. Cindy's health was always a struggle in the years since. She passed peacefully at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton.
