David Howard Beasley

was the first born child to Warren and LaVerne Beasley. He was born in Galen Montana on October 15, 1938, and lived in the area for most of his early years. He loved the Mountains and rivers of Montana especially at the Family Cabin at Jamestown Lake. In his youth he enjoyed Church activities, DeMolay, automotive courses, and being a counselor at YMCA camp. Through his life time he attended the Methodist, Presbyterian, Peninsula Bible Church and Christ Memorial. In College he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He moved to Fresno California in 1950 and Graduated from California State University Fresno CA with a degree in Business Administration-Finance and Science in 1960.He had a rewarding career as an Account/Controller. He liked to problem solve and help businesses grow and overcome financial challenges. He had admirable recommendations from his employers as to how well he worked to help them with management and achieve their business goals. He was on the leading edge with bringing in computer systems to set up accounting systems. When he retired he took a supplement job for Goodwill and worked by the IGA on Bainbridge. He lived in the Bay Area from 1966 through 1977 then he moved to the Northwest. He loved the water and Mountains. He lived in Suquamish until 1984 when he built a waterfront home on Bainbridge Island. He loved looking at the Olympic Mountains and watching all the boats go by. He enjoyed the beach, boating, skiing and fishing. He loved his family and wanted to keep in contact with as many as he could. When ever we had some challenge to overcome he was always there to help. He took time to go out of his way to take flowers, check on helpful information on the internet, and found practical ways to help and give his assistance in areas of need. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. David was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by three younger sisters and their spouses: Sara and Frank Bartucci, Sally and Sid Mc Donald and Ron and Marsha Eastman, two nephews Frank and Marc Bartucci, 4 nieces and their husbands, Stacy and Gary Leonard their children Adison & Shea, Tami and Dave Andersen their children Michelle, John and Joel, Heather and Brandon Mauseth their children Hayden and Tyson, and Joanna and Aaron Taylor their children Dyllion and Aarik. He was loved by all his family, extended family and many friends. He was extremely kind and always willing to help and care for others and will be wholeheartedly missed.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Seabold United Methodist Church, 6894 NE Seabold Road on Bainbridge Island. A reception will follow at the church.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Autisum Society or a charity of your choice.Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
