Diane C. Roza

Diane Consuela Roza passed away peacefully Saturday July 7, 2018 at the Olympic Alzheimer's Residence in Gig Harbor. Born in Seattle, WA., on July 9, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Felix "Joe" and Margaret (Rae/Duyungan) Mislang and was 76 years of age.


Diane was a teacher in Catholic schools for many years, and Director of Religious Education at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island for over 2o years. She earned her Master's in Theological Studies from Seattle University, and took great pride in her accomplishments and ability to inspire others.


Preceded in death by her husband in 2004, Diane is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Tamera Roza of Bainbridge Island, and two grandchildren, Spencer and Teia.


Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass on Wednesday July 18, 2018 at 11:00 am in St Cecelia's Catholic Church 1310 Madison Avenue N. Bainbridge Island, WA., where a viewing and Rosary will be offered from 10:00 am until the time of Mass. The interment will be made on Thursday July 19, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.


In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to assist with expenses after a long and costly battle with Alzheimer's.
