Duane Orrin Luchsinger

Duane Luchsinger, born in Minot, North Dakota on May 15,1947 to Orrin and Hazel(Bonness) Luchsinger, passed away on September 16, 2023. After a long battle with neuroendocrine cancer, Duane has been released from the physical limitations of his earthly body to soar on eagles wings into the presence of his Heavenly Father.

Duane touched the hearts of many people over the course of his 40 year career in Christian Broadcasting. Sharing the Good news of Salvation through Jesus Christ was foundational in all he did. Duane always noticed those on the fringes and readily shared his gift for kindness and connection. It was important to him to share the love of Jesus in everything he did

whether it be drag racing his motorcycle with Racers for Christ or using his musical talents to engage prisoners in the local jail ministries. He always showed up with a smile and an earnest desire to share the Good new of Jesus. Duane's walk through life was purposeful and meaningful to those who knew him - his tender heart, kind presence and smiling eyes will be

profoundly missed.

He is survived by his wife Dawna, his daughters Rachel(Allen) and Jessica(Jimmy), his “grandfur babies”, his sisters Margaret, Joanne and Karen as well as many nieces an nephews. All who were very dear to his heart.

A memorial service is being held on September 30th at 1pm at The Hillcrest Cemetery on Bainbridge Island, WA.
