passed away Jan. 5th, 2018 after many years of coping with the debilitating effects of exposure to Agent Orange in Viet Nam. He was born in Turtle Creek, Pa March 19,1938 and laid to rest in Tahoma National Cemetery Jan, 17, 2018.Earl began his career in Federal Law Enforcement as a Special Agent with the Dept of HHS in the pioneering years of investigating fraud, abuse and waste in Medicare, Medicaid, Public Health and Indian Health Services. In 1979 he joined the investigative arm of the recently created HHS Office of Inspector General and was soon appointed ARIGI, heading investigationsfor Region X. He was a Deputy US Marshal.Following retirement from the OIG he went on to work for the US Postal Inspection Services and Premera Blue Cross.A long time soccer coach, Helpline volunteer, certified Ombudsman for the Elderly, Earl served his family, his community and his country with honor and commitment.He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, son Mark (Sharmon), daughter Megan Visk (Josh), sisterConstance Gardner (Tom) and grandchildren Cooper, Colin, Sadie, Colleen, Callahan andMacAlister.A Celebration Of Life will be held March 31st, 2018 at the Kiana Lodge in Suquamish, WA from1-4PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Disabled American Veterans #5 orWounded Warriors.Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
