"Wyn", passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 13, 2013 on Bainbridge Island, WA. Wyn was born in Pueblo, Colorado the daughter of Dr. William Senger and Mary K. Senger. She attended Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia where she was president of her sophomore class. Because transportation was very difficult during World War II, Wyn transferred to Colorado College in Colorado Springs where she became a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. In 1943, Wyn met Captain Frank C. Moore, an attorney, stationed at Camp Carson, Colorado. They married shortly before Frank's combat duty in New Guinea and the Philippines. In his absence, Wyn continued her education and graduated with honors from Colorado College.Wyn was a devoted wife and mother who made it a priority to be active in her children's school activities, and was deeply committed to her husband's law career and their social obligations. Always involved and active, she was passionate about art and enjoyed painting and crafts.Wyn sold her home in Dallas in 2011 and moved to a retirement center on Bainbridge Island, Washington to be closer to family members. She will greatly be missed by her family and many friends.Wyn was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Frank. She is survived by her three children: James S. Moore and his wife June from Camarillo, California; Robert I. Moore and his wife Dixie from Bainbridge Island, Washington; and Suzanne Millard and her husband Thomas from Honolulu, Hawaii; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Cynthia Moore and children Micah Moore and Kenya Bergman; Benjamin, Seth, Katherine, and Daria Moore; and Carolyn Pearce; and four step-grandchildren Cynthia Schultz, Chrystal Simmons, Emrah Pouatogu, and Samantha Millard.A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday January 26, 2013 at Port Madison Lutheran Church, Bainbridge Island, Washington..If desired a memorial may be sent to the Clayton Dabney Foundation for Kids with Cancer ( 6500 Greenville Ave. Ste. 342; Dallas, Texas 75206), The Dallas Bar Foundation ( 2101 Ross Ave.; Dallas, Texas 75201), or a charity of your choice.
