Ellen Hagar

passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Mira Vista Care Center in Mount Vernon, Washington. She was born on February 17, 1926 and was 88 years of age.Ellen retired from Swedish Hospital in Seattle. She had a prize winning pumpkin pie and enjoyed crocheting, camping and music at the VFW in Renton, WA. Ellen was the oldest of five children.She is survived by her son James Hagar (Jill) of Oak Harbor, WA, son Richard Hagar of Federal Way, WA, grandson Ryan Hagar of Oak Harbor, WA, granddaughter Tiffany Kleiven (Adam) of Bainbridge Island, WA and great grandchildren Victoria and Bailey Kleiven of Bainbridge Island, WA. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband Roger Hagar, great-grandson Andrew James Kleiven and her parents and three brothers.Graveside services are pending at Tahoma National Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangement entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
