Ellen Marie Price

Ellen Marie Price, 72 of Kingston, WA passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at her home in Kingston surrounded by family.

Ellen was born on July 10, 1948, to Stanley Lloyd Purser and Irene (Jackson) Purser in Port Townsend, WA. She came from a large and extended family, the fourth oldest of ten children. Her siblings were Robert Jackson, Ben Purser, Rose Stewart, (Ellen), Don Purser Sr., Stanton Purser Sr., Ralph Purser, Gary Purser, Kathy Purser-Sullivan, and Penny Louise Purser. She had an estimate of 102! nephews, nieces greats, and greats-greats. And she loved each and every one! Ellen had one of the biggest hearts around with room for everyone.

Ellen married the love of her life Herman F. Price on July 5, 1969. They were blessed with four children Joseph, John, James, and Kwa-Kwain Price all of Kingston Wa. They welcomed many other children into their home. Her beloved grandchildren were Angelina Jade Sosa-Ives, Rayna Marie Espinosa-Ives, Manuel William Price, Nizhoni Na-Kawah Price, Kamaili Annette Marie Price-Sullivan, Salici Purser, and Deezhi Purser.

Ellen was a hard-working woman with a lifelong career of providing care for many people. Her career path included:

PGST Elders Advocate 2006-2013 when she reluctantly retired due to medical condition.

Ellen was a strong woman and survivor of several life-altering events including strokes, seizures, breast cancer. With the love of her family, she persevered and pulled through.

Ellen's services and interment will be private.
