Elva H Kristensen

Elva Kristensen, 101, of Bainbridge Island, WA, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2022. Elva was born in Copenhagen, Denmark to Viggo and Frederika Bengtsson on October 26th, 1920. She married Helge Kristensen and they emigrated to the United States in 1951 settling in the Seattle area. 

Elva is survived by her daughter Susan Kristensen and her son Dirk Kristensen (Barbara), as well as her grandsons Stewart (Yuko) and Chris Kristensen and great grandchildren Ike and Ada Kristensen and her family in Denmark Annette Andersen (Jan), Klaus Andersen (Sanaz) and Sisse Andersen Rohard (Jens). She was preceded in death by her husband Helge Kristensen and son Bjarne Kristensen. Elva leaves behind a memory of family gatherings on special occasions where her Danish cooking skills were enjoyed by all. She was loved by all of her family and will be dearly missed.
