passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Emeritus Oaks Care Facility in Silverdale, Washington. She was born on July 24, 1909 and was 98 years of age. Evelyne was born in Excelsior Springs, Mo. July 24, 1909. She moved to Denver in 1948 where she was a member of Montview Presbyterian Church for 54 years. She was a Deacon and Bible circle leader and member of the Mariners group there. She was a member of Chapter DA P.E.O. sisterhood. Evelyne belonged to several bridge groups, one was the Twigs which was a branch of the Newcomers group when she moved to Denver. She moved to Silverdale, Wa. October 2002 to be near daughter Shelley Malan. She was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Stella Ray, her husband F. Burton Mack, and her brothers Bill and Jack Ray. Survivors, brothers Donald, Laurence, James, and Robert Ray, sisters Dorothy Hussey and Norma Jean Osborn. Daughters, Novalee Klein and husband Howard, Sheri LaQuey and husband Allan, Shelley Malan and husband Roland. Grandchildren Shawn and Scott Hanson, Tracy LaQuey Parker, and Tyce LaQuey, Great grandchildren, Adam, Natalie and Scott Hanson, Keaton Kolbe and Emma Hanson, Harrison and Henry Parker, Caleb, Abigail, and Luke LaQuey.There will be a memorial service July 26 10a.m. at Westport Presbyterian Church, Kansas City, Mo. Private burial Montview Presbyterian Church Denver, Colorado in the Columbarium.Arrangements are pending through Cook Family Funeral Home.
