Frances A. Narte

passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Martha and Mary Health Care Services in Poulsbo, Washington. She was born on February 2, 1933 and was 79 years of age.Frances loved to play bingo and solitaire, also enjoyed fishing, canning fruits, telling stories, painting and knitting. She is survived by her children: Adeline Parker, Jamie Narte, Debbie Smith, Phillip Narte, Tony Narte, Mario Narte, Catalina Renteria, Dante Narte and Moreno Peralta. There are 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters Wilifreida Paul and Margaret Hinksman and many nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Jamie P. Narte and siblings Leonard Gladstone and Elieen Bello.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation and Recitation of the Rosary on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 3:30-8:00 PM at Frances' home on Miller Road on Bainbridge Island. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island. A visitation will precede the service at the church. Interment will take place at Island Center Cemetery and a reception will then follow. Memorial donations can be made to the Bainbridge Island Fire Department.
