Frederick John Reitmeyer Jr.

passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 in Poulsbo, WA. He was born on April 28, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA., the oldest of nine children.Fred was a member of St. Olaf Church in Poulsbo where he sang in the church choir for over 25 years. He was also a member of the Compline Choir for 20 years.Fred served in the navy. He went to work Westinghouse where he was lead engineer at Bangor. He was a licensed professional Engineer in South Carolina and Washington. Fred was a past commander of American Legion Post 245 in Poulsbo. He now belongs to American Legion Post 172 in Bainbridge Island. Fred is survived by his wife Shirlee of Poulsbo, WA and their son Frederick (Rick) Reitmeyer of Poulsbo, WA. He also leaves behind 2 granddaughters and 7 great-grandchildren.Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend the memorial service on Saturday, October 25, 2014, Rosary at 10:30, Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Poulsbo, WA.
