Gary Norman Nelson

Gary Norman Nelson of Hansville passed away peacefully in the place he loved most on Sunday September 30, 2018. Born April 21, 1945 in Seattle, Wa he was the son of the late Norman and Leona (Carle) Nelson and was 73 years of age.

Gary attended school locally and after his graduation from high school, he entered the Air Force Reserves where he served honorably for several years. During that time he would also earn his Bachelors Degree in Education. He spent his career teaching in several local districts mainly in Physical Education.

Gary loved being close to the water and spent summers with his family on the property they've owned for nearly 4 generations.

Gary is survived by his loving children, Leah Bourne of Brookville, Indiana and Eric Nelson of Kingston, WA. and his beloved grandchildren.

Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
