George Gregory Buchmeier

passed away on Monday, December 27, 2010 at his home on Bainbridge Island, Washington. He was born on March 3, 1947 in San Rafael, California to George and Mary Buchmeier. He was 63 years of age. He graduated from Sammamish High School in Bellevue,WA. George sold beer at the King Dome, Safeco Field and Key Arena. He was an Eagle Scout and was a gifted artist and collector of fine things. George is survived by his mother Mary Margaret Buchmeier of Issaquah, WA, siblings; John Peter Buchmeier of Loveland, Colorado, Robert Pierce Buchmeier of Oxen Hill, MD, Margaret Eleanor Sabota of Camino Island, WA, and Karl Joseph Buchmeier of Bainbridge Island, WA. He also leaves behind his sister in laws Pamela Kae and Jennifer Buchmeier, nephew C Tyson Buchmeier of Bainbridge Island, WA and nieces Megan Elizabeth Buchmeier of Mt. Vernon, WA, Ashley Rose Dimas of San Ramon, WA, Kayla Nicole Buchmeier of Bainbridge Island, WA and Rachel Buchmeier of Loveland, CO. George was preceded in death by his father George Thomas Buchmeier and his wife Donna Buchmeier. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church 1121 228th Avenue Southeast in Sammamish, WA.
