Georgia Louise Addington

passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. She was born on September 4, 1933 and was 75 years of age. She had moved from Anchorage, Alaska and had lived on Bainbridge Island for the past 28 years. She was a member of Island Church, The Eastern Star, was a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of America, studied Latin and was a volunteer for the Frye Art Museum.She is survived by her son Jonathan Scott Addington and her grandson Bjorn Addington. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Donald Addington in 1979, her son David Addington and brother Quentin Layer.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Island Church on Bainbridge Island.
