Geraldine Irene Morgan

Geraldine Irene Morgan, 85, of Seattle, passed away quietly on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Columbia Lutheran Home in Seattle, WA.

She was born in Seattle on November 25, 1934, to Florence Grace Morgan (Johnson) into a large loving family with 9 siblings. Her six brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Michael A Morgan (of Bainbridge Island, WA), and her three sisters, Frankie Morgan Cline, Shirley Morgan and June Morgan Wallace (all of Seattle).


Gerry grew up in Seattle and attended Franklin High School. She lived and worked in Seattle and California, mostly as a legal secretary. She married Stuart Trimble at Murrietta Hot Springs, CA, in 1983, and was widowed in1989. Soon after, she returned to Seattle.


Gerry loved classical music and played her several pianos well. As a young woman, she accompanied the Sunday school class. She enjoyed all the arts. She loved animals and was committed to their welfare. She was gentle and kind, and a longtime vegan. She was always ready to help anyone in need or distress.


She loved her family and spent much of her time with them; helping with her older sister Shirley’s care, attending all family events and celebrations, traveling, often taking cruises with Frankie and June. She kept in touch with her friends and made new ones learning Spanish at the Greenwood community center.
