was born in Manchester , New Hampshire on April 5, 1926 to Philippe and Adele Lambert. She received her education at St. Marie's Catholic School in Manchester. Mrs. Bauer came to Washington State when she married John M. Bauer on July 7, 1951, and spent the following years in Port Orchard, Washington. Mrs. Bauer was co-founder of the Chief Kitsap Chapter of Sweet Adeline and was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2338. She passed away peacefully at the Hospice of Kitsap County Care Center. Mrs. Bauer is survived by her husband John, her two children, Denise Craswell (Jim) of Poulsbo and Kurt Bauer of Port Orchard. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Kimberly, Rebecca, Hannah, Andrew, Elizabeth, and Laura Craswell; and Michael and Mathew Bauer. She was a long-time member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, where her services will be held this Saturday, August 15th, with a Rosary at 9:30 am and Mass at 10:00 am. St. Gabriel is located at 1150 Mitchell Ave , Port Orchard, WA 98366. Donations may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
