Grace Elizabeth Anderson

passed away peacefully in the early hours of Thanksgiving day November 27 2014 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was 85 years of age.After 64 years of happy marriage, she leaves behind her beloved husband Carlton Anderson and children Paula (Reverend Timothy Teuscher), living in Canada, Nathan (Patricia), living in Kansas, Curtiss (Randi), living in Norway, and Kenneth (Kari), living in Norway, as well as sister Dorothy, 10 Grand children and many Nieces and nephews.Grace was a native of Minnesota born on April 2, 1929 and became engaged to the love of her life in the person of Carlton Anderson in 1948. In 1950, she embarked on a flight to India to join Carlton at his place of work and be married on April 9, 1950. Grace was a constant support, always ready to move on to the next job location abroad and even birthed three of our four children in foreign countries. Grace was also a gifted writer and poetess and relatives always looked forward to her letters describing our surroundings. But most of all, she was a dedicated follower of the Lord and is now at rest in her heavenly home. She will be greatly missed by her many relatives and friends.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the memorial service on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Bethany Lutheran Church on Bainbridge Island.
