Guadalupe Ann Madayag

passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 on Bainbridge Island, Washington. She was born on December 13, 1947 and was 69 years of age.Lupe was the matriarch of the Madayag family and Auntie to many. She loved to play rummy... as long as you played by her rules. On occasion you could see her at the local casino trying her luck. She danced hula with halau, played bingo at the American Legion Hall and the Senior Center on Bainbridge Island.Lupe was passionate about her make up and never left home without being done up. She loved her jewelry and flowers for her hair.Lupe is survived by her husband Pinky Madayag of Bainbridge Island, son Michael Madayag of Suquamish, WA, grandchildren: Johnathan Madayag of Sedro Wooley, WA, Jordan Madayag of Poulsbo, WA and Mikayla Madayag of Suquamish, WA. She also leaves behind her sisters: Victoria Pastrana and Juanita Zagelow and brother Julio Pastrana and many loving nieces and nephews. Lupe was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Cesaria Pastrana, siblings: Joe, Sibie, Marcelino, Gil and Emilio Pastrana and sister Irene Guevara and son Jason Madayag.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10 to 10:30 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island. The Recitation of the Rosary will take place at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. A reception will follow at the Filipino hall on Bainbridge Island, 7566 NE High School Road on Bainbridge Island.
