Gunnar Bror Nystrom Iii

was born on November 15, 1957 in Habertown, Pennsylvania to Ruth Ann Purser and Gunnar Bror Nystrom Jr. The creator called him home on the afternoon of December 16, 2014 at the age of 57 years surrounded by the presence and love of his family.In October of 1975 at the young age of 17 he joined The United States Marine Corp and was stationed in Colom, Panama where he guarded over the Panama Canal. He was honorably discharged from his service in 1978.He was an enrolled Elder of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe. His interests included shooting pool, card games, corny jokes, chess, clam digging, fishing and Jeopardy. He cherished time spent with family and friends.He is survived by his mother and step-father Ann and Dan Anderson of Kingston, brothers Lowell, Alan Nystrom and Tommy Doleman, sisters Lori Nystrom-Fischer, Kim Nystrom, Sandy Nystrom, Stephanie Dahlberg and many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Edward Nystrom.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Port Gamble - S'Klallam Tribal Gym.
