Harold E. Moore Jr., a cherished member of the Bainbridge Island community, departed from this life on January 17, 2024, at his home here on Bainbridge Island, WA. Throughout his life, Hal exemplified the virtues of service, dedication, and creativity. As a veteran of the US Navy, he served his country with honor and distinction, embodying the values of courage and sacrifice. After his time in the Navy, Hal pursued a career as a photojournalist, utilizing his keen eye for detail and storytelling to capture the world around him. His work was admired for its authenticity and depth, earning him recognition and respect in the field. Above all else, Hal was a devoted husband and father. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments that will be forever treasured by his loved ones.
